The rails are high UV-resistant fibreglass, so it won't break down sitting in the sun on site, and the steps are structural-grade aluminium to keep the whole thing strong but manageable at 10.1kg. The full-width rear section flares out towards the floor, giving it a bigger footprint and a stable, planted feel.
