Fixed stools are fine until the floor is not flat or the job is 200mm higher than the stool. The Total Aluminium 450mm Adjustable Handy Stool fixes both: each leg adjusts independently in 20mm steps, so it levels on a sloping driveway or a stair landing. The platform runs from 385mm up to 615mm high. Same 450mm square checker plate top, same 225kg rating.

It weighs 7kg, carries by the slot in the top and sits on rubber feet so it does not skate on tiles.

• Rocklea, QLD 4106: Monday to Friday 7am-3pm. Full range, including trestles and planks.
• Naval Base, WA 6165: Monday to Friday 7am-3pm. Trestles and planks are not stocked here and ship from our eastern states warehouses instead.
