A Platform Ladder That Fits in the Van: Indalex TRDP7/4 Slimline Platform

Platform ladders are the comfortable way to work at height, a proper deck to stand on and a handrail to lean against, but most of them are bulky things that eat van space. The Indalex TRDP7/4 closes down to just 45mm thick, so it slides in beside everything else and stores flat against the shed wall.

Set up, you get a 1.2m standing platform with a handrail running up to 2.1m, and it's clever about it: the platform doubles as the spreader bar and folds the steps as it lifts, so you can open and close the whole ladder with one hand. Structural-grade high tensile aluminium keeps it at 8.3kg, light enough for single-handed carrying too.
