A prop on its own only pushes on a point. The Total Aluminium Prop Forkhead drops into the top of the prop and cradles the bearer, so a timber or LVL beam sits square in a 150mm wide U-head instead of balancing on a plate. It is the standard way to prop a bearer for formwork, a temporary floor or a beam that needs holding while you work under it.
Why Put A Forkhead On The Prop
-
150mm wide fork. Takes a bearer or a pair of bearers and keeps them from rolling off the prop.
-
225mm long, 195mm high. A deep enough cradle to hold the timber square under load.
-
Galvanised. Site-proof finish that does not rust.
- Sized for Total Aluminium galvanised adjustable props.

Shipping & Delivery
We deliver Total Aluminium gear Australia-wide, direct to your site, business or residential address, shipped from whichever of our four warehouses is closest to you with live carrier pricing at checkout.
-
Four dispatch points: Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Perth, so your order travels the shortest distance we can manage.
-
Trestles and planks: not stocked in WA. Orders for these ship from our eastern states warehouses, so allow extra transit time.
-
Dispatch: your order ships within 1 to 2 business days.
-
Delivery: most orders arrive within 3 to 6 business days. Remote areas can take a little longer.
-
Business or residential: please pick the correct option at checkout, as carrier pricing varies. If the wrong one is chosen and extra charges apply, we'll contact you for approval before dispatch.
-
Long lengths: trestles and planks are oversize freight. A commercial address with unloading help is always cheaper than a residential one.
